The custom van craze of the 1970’s is back and it is aimed squarely at the 1:10 trail truck market. The Pro-Line Racing Rock Van captures all the “out-there” styling touches that made the custom van craze so special the first time around including oversized fender flares and a custom detailed grille. The familiar short nose, long side silhouette is exaggerated by the ratio of height to wheelbase of the 12.3″ shell. Pro-Line includes two separate side bubble window designs, a porthole and a teardrop, that can be inserted from the inside for a realistic appearance. Additional, user-printable STL files will be available to add detail pieces such as a visor, wing, ladder and window louvers.
In addition to the clear version, Pro-Line is also offering the Rock Van in a Tough Color variant that is not pre-painted or silkscreened but rather the color is pre-impregnated into the polycarbonate so there is no chance of paint flaking off during hard use. The body includes a full compliment of detail decals to finish off the look and window decals are included as well (the windows are not clear on this version).
