Adding to their already expansive line of pre-mounted SC tires, Pro-Line
have announced four new options featuring their 6×30 Raid removable hex
wheels.
Up first is the winner of our Basher Tire Comparison, the Badlands. The
original Badlands tread returns, this time pre-glued to the convenient
Raid 6×30 wheels and include offset hexes to suit the front and rear of
both the Slash 2wd and Slash 4×4. The tires are molded in the M2
(medium) compound and include molded closed cell foam inserts.
Next are the ultra-popular Trencher X SC’s. The familiar combination of
large, rectangular, siped outer tread blocks combined with angled center
treads makes for a good, all-around, does-everything-fairly-well tire.
Again the new tires are mounted on 6×30 Raid wheels and are supported by
molded closed cell inserts.
For those who do their bashing on the streets Pro-Line now offer their
Street Fighter SC on-road tire pre-mounted to Raid 6×30 removable hex
wheels. These directional tires have large asymmetric angled tread
blocks leading away from two circumferential center grooves that
straddle a center siped tread block. The long-lasting tire is molded
from the M2 (medium) compound and are supported by molded closed cell
inserts.
Finally, Pro-Line has an option for the sandbox, the Sling Shot. The
large paddles provide all the forward traction you’ll ever need in the
desert or at the beach. There are (10) 1/4″ paddles spaced equally
across the circumference of the tire which are scooped for extra support
and resistance to flex during acceleration. These tires are best suited
for the rear of the Slash 2wd and can be used at both ends of a 4×4.
Each pair includes one left and one right tire mounted on Raid 6×30
removable hex wheels, molded closed cell inserts and two sets of offset
hex adapters.
