While the majority of the country is digging out from the latest snow storm here in the U.S., all eyes in the RC industry were on the Nuremberg Toy Fair; this years edition marks the 75th anniversary of this event and serves as the yearly kick-off for some RC manufacturers to excite the public with what is coming throughout the upcoming lap around the sun. This year was very Tamiya-focused; featuring new bodies for the TT02 entry-level platform, a re-release of the famous Ranger pickup, the updated Lunchbox EVO, the newest flagship touring car the TRF421X, a 50th anniversary Porsche 934 Valiant race car on a rear motor, rear wheel drive chassis (just like a real 911 would be), a new, entry level 4wd off-road buggy named the QuirkHopper, a Mini Cooper Rally car based on the M05 chassis and an on-road racing version of the Mini Cooper based on the MB-01 chassis.
