Similar to the updates seen on the Senton 4×4 MEGA (link here https://1i-rc.com/arrma-announced-updates-to-the-senton-4×4-mega/ ), Arrma are updating the rest of the MEGA 4×4 line as well as their 4×4 BLX’s. Each model (Typhon, Granite, Senton in both MEGA and BLX as well as the Big Rock Crew Cab BLX) gets an updated chassis with retained hinge pins, an updated steering rack, castellated slipper pads, metal diff inputs (for the MEGA’s), and a new transmitter, receiver and servo combo. Spektrum’s SLT3 3-channel transmitter features the new SLT protocol that is quicker and more responsive than the previous Tactic transmitter. Paired to the new transmitter is a Spektrum SLR300 waterproof receiver. The MEGA’s servo is a Spektrum SPM650 with 84oz-in of torque and plastic gears while the BLX’s get the SPM651 with 101oz-in of torque and metal gears. Connected to the new servo is a 23t servo horn with integrated servo saver.
