In celebration of Pro-Line’s 40th anniversary Axial is releasing a limited number of SCX10iii’s that include a host of PL parts right out of the box. Each truck is serialized with its production number laser-engraved on the motor plate for authenticity, making this the second limited release Axial to carry this exclusivity. As with the B17 Betty SCX24, the K10 includes a commemorative coin as an added bonus.
Under the Pro-Line 1982 K10 lexan body is a standard SCX10iii chassis with the portal axle option. To add a touch of scale realism the body includes a molded grille, 2-piece side view mirrors, headlight and taillight buckets as well as molded front and rear bumpers. Rock Shooter hybrid aluminum/composite beadlock wheels gleam in the sun while keeping the Class 1 Hyrax tires firmly attached to the truck. A simple LED light kit is included for the headlights and front amber marker lights. Rounding out the Pro-Line accessories are a a set of Big Bore Scaler shocks that offer the smoothest performance while also looking stunning inside the fenders.
The 10iii chassis that underpins the Pro-Line body is the same as seen in the Base Camp edition and features the familiar 4-link rear/3-link with panhard front suspension arrangement, a single speed center-mounted metal gear transmission, steel c-channel chassis and a host of waterproof Spektrum electronics. Included in the electronics package are a 40a Spektrum brushed ESC, a 35t Dynamite motor, Spektrum 15kg servo and an SLT3 radio system.
