JConcepts has released a host of upgrades for the Associated RC10B7/D including a two hard anodized chassis (standard and -4mm), titanium front axles, aluminum 0 and 2.5 degree front bulkheads, a steel servo weight plate and a steel electronics plate.
Each new chassis is machined from 7075 aluminum that is then anodized a menacing black. Both standard length and -4mm versions are available to sutt the needs of different track surfaces. The standard length chassis weighs in at 124g and includes additional angular pocketing giving drivers an additional tuning option. The -4mm version comes in at 122g and features the same pocketing with the added bonus of being 2g lighter.

Next up are front and rear shock towers that are -2mm compared to stock. Racers have found that lowering the shock tower, and thus the upper shock mount can shave tenths off per lap. Using these shock towers requires the use of -2mm shock eyelets to maintain proper shock travel and ride height. Each tower is 4mm thick and is cut with a slather of JConcepts signature style in black or blue finishes.

Rounding out the first trio of products is JConcepts new adjustable titanium front axles. Instead of a standard style axle these new front axles have a blooming flower design that supports the wheel hex, further reducing mass. A 1.5mm spacer is included offering another tuning option to drivers. Installing the spacer on the inside of the axle (this is the same as the stock setting). Adding the spacer to the outside is effectively the same as using a standard 6mm wheel hex. Each axle is available in two finishes: burnt blue or stealthy black.
A note from JConcepts: “JConcepts offers a direct replacement aluminum serrated wheel nut for this axle listed as part number 2341-1(blue) and 2341-2 (black) and new low-profile option 5216-1 (blue) and 5216-2 (black).”
Looking to add some weight in different areas of your B7? JConcepts has you covered with their new steel electronics and under servo plates. Making the most drastic difference is the electronics plate which is now a two-piece affair, with the main body of the plate weighing 18.5g (slightly heavier than the stock aluminum piece) and the accessory plate weighing in at 16.7g for a total mass of 35.2g, all of which is centered in the chassis for optimal front/rear bias.
If adding some weight to the nose of your B7 is your goal look no further than JConcepts’ steel servo plate. Like the electronics pate, this servo plate is a two piece assembly, with the main plate weighing 9.5g (slightly heavier than the stock aluminum part) and the second optional plate coming in at 8g for a total of 17.5g up front. Both front and rear plates are black oxide coated for durability and laser etched for a touch of JConcepts style.

Rounding out the new parts pile are two new front bulkheads, a 0 degree and a 2.5 degree. Both bulkheads are machined from 7075 aluminum and incorporates extra material for added durability, Both bulkheads are available in blue or black, have chamferred edging for highlighting and laser etching for style.
