Fans of the 1:1 Kaiser Jeep M715 now have another option to outfit their scale crawler with the release of the new JConcepts MCI M117 Lloyd 2 body. This bobbed and low-profile body is not only packed with scale style but is a bump in performance as well. The prominent grille and headlight assembly stands proud up front and leads into a wide, flat hood and steeply raked windshield, all of which were present on the real thing. Wide fender flares offer a modicum of tire coverage on top of the 7.25″ width of the body but can be trimmed for tire clearance if need be. Inside the deeply recessed bed is a mock toolbox and corrugated bed floor material. Stamped proudly into the tailgate is the “Lloyd II” logo, designating the trucks name in a fashion similar to modern pickups. Each body is sold clear with precision cut window masks, overspray film and detail details to bring out this truck’s inner grunt.
