Following in the rather small footsteps of its older sibling, the Micro-B, Losi has introduced the Micro-T; a 2wd mid-motor stadium truck that takes much of the design language of the 22T and shrinks it down to 1/28 scale.
A new, shorter black anodized aluminum chassis provides a solid backbone for the palm-sized pickup. This chassis features front caster kick up as well as curved sides for strength. A twin bellcrank steering system provides smooth and precise steering and transmits the torque of the Spektrum AS-1 micro servo and transmits it to the wheels via fixed links. Oil fill shocks are found at all four corners and keep the tires in contact with the track for optimal handling. A 65t micro motor spins the mid-motor transmission with its gear differential and ball bearings, finally transferring power through small dogbone driveshafts. Pro-Line Blockage tires and an Axis body set this truck apart from anything else on the market; no other company is providing top quality named parts on an RTR.
A host of Spektrum electronics find their home in the Micro-T including a 2-in-1 ESC/RX combo rated at 4a, a 350mAh 2s LiPO battery with .5a USB charger and an SLT2 transmitter to send the signals. The included charger can top off a flat battery in less than one hour and the 350mAh battery can keep the fun going for 20+ minutes. Losi claims a top speed of 13mph out of the box and after seeing the truck run I’d agree with that estimate.
