Considered by some to be the best base platform to build a serious trail rig upon the Jeep JL was a limited run, longer wheelbase, 2-door Wrangler that danced the fine line between long-wheelbase stability and short-wheelbase agility. Pro-Line’s JL replica features a standard 12.3″ wheelbase, allowing the body to fit most of today’s trail truck chassis’. Pinching the nose and rear tailgate section helps avoid snags on jagged obstacles and adds to the already aggressive stance of this rare Jeep. A detailed interior pan is molded into the body instead of a fixed roof; doing so presents the included roll cage as a prominent feature. Molded accessories such as the headlight buckets and interior detail pieces bring the truck to life and make detailing a cinch.
Looking like an RC version of Mini Me, Pro-Line’s 1/24 Jeep JL packs many of the same details of its larger sibling into a much, much smaller package. Much like the 1/10 version the body is molded without a roof; instead opting for a well detailed interior with driver bust and a separately molded Trail Cage. The body fits SCX24’s and other 1/24 vehicles with a 132mm wheelbase and can accommodate larger tires thanks to its pinched nose an dovetailed rear section.
Like all Pro-Line bodies these two offerings were made in the USA, come with Paint-Then-Peel overspray film and full-color detail decal sheets.
