Drivers looking to recreate their favorite Beetle from the Baja 1000 can now do so with the introduction of the new Pro-Line Volkswagen Beetle body for 12.3″ wheelbase scalers.
In the early days of crawling Bug bodies were a popular option due to their propensity to roll themselves back over during a crash. The overall narrow size of the 1:1 Beetle lends itself to performance off-roading as it affords extra tire clearance while also allowing the car to snake through tight trails with ease. The 1/10 version is much of the same with a rounded roof, pinched fender arches, short overhangs and more scale detail than you can shake a stick at. Like all Pro-Line bodies this shell was designed and manufactured in the USA and includes overspray film and a comprehensive detail decal sheet.
