Following in the footsteps, or tire smoke as it were, of their popular Hoonitruck AWD 1/10 on-road truck is the new Hoonicorn replica of Mr. Block’s 1400hp 1965 Ford Mustang. The faithfully reproduced officially licensed body features molded intakes and turbochargers poking out of the hood, molded brake calipers and rotors, licensed American Racing VF503 wheels and even a scaled down copy of the big ‘corn’s rear diffuser. Unfortunately the scale car does not emulate its larger brethren in the power department as the Apex2 makes use of a brushed Reedy electronic speed control and a Reedy 3-pole brushed motor. Threaded oil filled dampers smooth out the ride while a sealed drivetrain with metal ring and pinion gears keeps the power flowing smoothly. The Apex2 Hoonicorn is available with or without a battery and charger for out of the box convenience.
