Traxxas’ new Pro Scale Winch Kit includes four feet of high strength reinforced line, a steel hook, metal fairlead, two-channel wireless remote and mounting hardware. A single wire powers the unit and plugs directly into the XL-5 HV’s accessory port for access to battery power without the need to dig into the receiver box. The winch features a free spool mode that makes winching out much faster and there is 10lbs of pulling force going back in. A scale grab strap is also included to cap off the look for those all-important scale points. Traxxas currently offers five different front bumper options to make winch mounting simple, including bumpers for the TRX-4 Sport, G500/G63, Defender, ’79 Bronco and Blazer and the ’69/’72 Blazer.
