For those looking to get a little more hands-on with their Slash 2wd, Traxxas now offers the truck as an unassembled kit that includes everything needed to complete the truck except for a battery and charger. The truck is a standard HCG brushed model and includes the XL-5 waterproof speed control, Titan 12t motor, and a TQ 2.4gHz radio system. Standard features from the RTR Slash return such as the metal gear Magnum 272 transmission, scale bumpers, and an o-ring sealed waterproof receiver box. Upgrades include a full compliment of rubber sealed ball bearings, heavy-duty telescoping driveshafts, and adjustable steel turnbuckles. Custom paint masks are included to help give the clear body a custom touch and the BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A tires look great while being a good match for the included power system.
