Everything is bigger in Texas, including the TRX-4 Sport from Traxxas which has received the High Trail treatment. This entry-level version of the lifted series of trail trucks eschews the 2-speed transmission and selectable locking differentials in favor of a simpler single speed gearbox and full-time locked differentials. Traxxas’ patented clipless body mounts have found their way onto the overland style Sport body, holding the shell securely without disrupting the aggressive lines of the truck. Like all High Trail edition trucks the Sport is outfitted with longer dampers, corresponding links, 2.2″ Canyon AT tires and 2.2″ glue-on beadlock style wheels. Powering the truck is the XL-5 HV ESC and a 21t 550 Titan motor; each capable of handling 3s power. A chassis mounted 2075X metal gear waterproof servo keeps the truck moving in the right direction and takes its orders from a TQ 2.4gHz radio system.
