New from the folks at Pro-Line Racing are these Reaction HP Belted slick
tires for short course size wheels. Designed for No-Prep drag racing,
the Reaction HP offers the on-demand traction of a full-slick with the
added high-speed stability of a belted tire. The inner belt is woven in a
herringbone pattern and prevents ballooning, even at speed. The
Reaction HP is molded in Pro-Line’s S3 (soft) compound and include soft
foam inserts.
As a note from Pro-Line:
“The Reaction HP tires have a maximum speed rating that, if exceeded,
could result in permanently damaging the internal belt. For the Reaction
HP SC tires that is 90 mph or about 7000 rpm. Over revving your
Reaction HP tires could result in breaking the internal belt, which will
NOT be covered under warranty. This can be caused by “diffing-out” your
tires or holding the throttle open while one, two or three of your
tires are stopped, which substantially increases the RPM sent to the
free-spinning tire or tires.”
