Arrma have just announced their new Infraction 1/7 multi-terrain capable truck. The new large sized platform builds off a 3mm 6061-T6 anodized aluminum chassis plate and features front and rear sealed differentials, a locked center spool, oversized battery trays, adjustable body mounts front and rear as well as center chassis braces for reduced chassis flex and improved durability.
Powering the Infraction is a 2050kv 4074 sized brushless motor and Arrma’s BLX185 waterproof speed control. Pointing the Infraction in the right direction is a ADS15M waterproof metal-gear servo which receives its orders from a Spektrum DX2e Active transmitter with some assistance from Spektrum’s AVC technology to keep things in check.
The Infraction’s four-wheel independent suspension is damped by big-bore oil filled shocks that are attached to black anodized aluminum shock towers. The easy access diffs feed power to the wheels via durable steel driveshafts, 17mm wheel hexes and new dBoots “Hoons” tires.
The classic pickup body if flanked by a pair of aerodynamic aids; a full-width splitter in the front and a large diffuser in the rear. Addiding to the rear downforce is an adjustable wing and protecting the roof in case of a crash is a large set of roof rails and a roll bar.
Included in the package is a Mod1 pinion that helps the truck reach its claimed top speed of 80+ MPH (129+ km/h). Changing that pinion is made simple thanks to the one screw adjustable motor mount.
