JConcepts have downsized their popular Fling King and The Hold tires to fir the 1/24 FCX24 Smasher, conveniently mounted to the attractive Glide 5 Crusher wheels.
The deep-v tread pattern of the Fling King is perfectly captured even at this miniscule size and at 63mm tall, this tire definitely sells the “tractor tire” look. Molded from JConcepts’ super soft “green” compound and are supported by soft, open cell foam inserts. Each tire can be had mounted to either the Glide 5 or Crusher wheels for simple out-of-the-poly-bag-and-onto-the-truck convenience.
For a more “trail” or “weekend warrior” look JConcepts also introduces The Hold. This tire features large lugs that will grab terrain and throw it in the opposite direction with tenacity. Cleanout is not an issue either thanks to the wide spacing of the main tread lugs and with 63mm of diameter The Hold looks as mean as it grips. Each tire is supported by soft open-cell foam inserts and is molded in the super-soft “green” compound.
