As a celebration of the famous off-road endurance race Losi has released a limited edition variant of their Baja Rey, this time with a tan Mint 400 themed Ford Raptor body shell, among a few other detailed touches. In addition to the sand colored paint scheme the truck features large Mint 400 graphics that suit the body lines perfectly while the scale roll cage plays peek-a-boo with the windshield and bed cutouts. A limited edition commemorative coin is included, ala the SCX24 anniversary B-17 Betty, which will still set the truck apart from other Rey’s even after the body shell is long worn away. A Mint 400 logo is laser-etched onto the chassis plate to add a touch of flair and is paired with a Losi logo for good measure. Officially licensed Black Rhino wheels round out the aesthetics. A host of Spektrucm electronics are utilized including a 3800kv brushless motor, Firma 130a ESC, a S614S 15kg servo, SLR300 radio system and even a 20w LiPO charger for the included 2s 5000mAh SMART battery. Mechanically the truck is identical to prior releases, including its independent front suspension, solid axle rear suspension, long-travel coil over shocks and three differential drivetrain layout.
