With the influx of high performance 1/8 MT”s over the past few years there has been a lack of specially designed speed run tires for drivers looking to max out these overpowered beasts. Enter Pro-Line’s new Menace HP Belted asymmetric tire that can sustain speeds up to 75mph (or about 4500rpm) without ballooning or risking damage to the herringbone belt. Keeping its shape is just one part of the grip equation for the Menace; the rest comes from the specially designed tread pattern that maximizes contact patch, the medium compound that strikes a balance between all-out traction and tread life and the open-cell foam inserts that keep the tire’s shape even under extreme cornering. Each tire is mounted on a Raid 17mm hex 8×32 wheel for simple installation and hex replacement should one become damaged.
