Make mini trucks rad again! Whether it is just a reemerging trend from the 80’s or the blame rests solely on WatchJRGo’s shoulders mini trucks are back in a big way. Pro-Line’s 1987 Nissan Hardbody is bringing the 80’s nostalgia to the world of scale crawlers; while not what we in the hobby would consider a hard body (an ABS molded body in the traditional sense) this polycarbonate facsimile nails the vibe of the original D21 pickup. From its flat nose and rectangular grille to its flared fenders and bedsides this body captures the silhouette of the 1:1 perfectly. Those headlights are more than stickers though; 3d light buckets are included to light up the trail at night (LED’s sold separately). While the Roger Mears tribute paint scheme shown in the press photos is very fitting for this truck the body arrives clear and includes window masks, overspray film and detail decals.
