Designed for maximum performance without sacrificing scale appearance the new Pro-Line front runner tires are the next evolution in No Prep tire technology. Beginning with the standard 2.2″ outer bead, the Front Runner maintains the appearance of a standard 2.2″ front tire while the 2.7″ inner bead lowers rotating mass and adds a measure of front hub clearance while the super narrow section width reduces rolling resistance. The tire’s carcass design also eliminates the need for foam inserts, instead relying on the outer bead material as well as internal ribbing for support.
Pro-Line also has a new wheel to compliment the Front Runner in their Showtime 2.2″/2,7″ wheel. With a spoke design that mimics full-scale drag wheels, the Showtime is as much show as it is go. The super-narrow design is also very lightweight and the 12mm hex and standard offset mean that the wheel will work on many different platforms such as the Losi 22S Drag Car, converted 2wd Slashes and the Associated DR10.
