For aficionados of the above average sized Arrma’s RPM have released a new version of their ESC cage, this time for the Castle Creations Mamba X 8s controller, allowing it to be mounted directly to the Kraton or Outcast 8s chassis. The unit is a bolt-in affair and offers greatly improved retention of the speed control in a crash while also protecting it from impacts. Gone are the days of switches coming unstuck and turning themselves off thanks to the switch mount that bolts directly to the cage. Air channels on the sides of the cage allow for air circulation around the case, keeping the ESC cooler. Further cooling can be achieved by using a fan as the cage allows its use without sacrificing its ability to protect the speed control. Like all RPM products the Mamba X ESC cage is proudly designed and manufactured in the USA and carries a limited lifetime warranty.
