New Product Release: Team Associated SR10 Dirt Oval RTR

Dirt oval racers have long known the benefits of using Team Associated components as the basis for their builds as parts are plentiful and designed for the rigors of off-road competition therefore robust. Building off of the 9-time national champion winning platform of the SC10 Team Associated has announced the release of the SR10, a car designed specifically for going fast and left on dirt.

Beginning with a low-center-of-gravity chassis Associated have strapped a 2.6:1 Stealth transmission to the rear and used narrower arms at all four corners to get the proportions correct. Power is fed to the rear wheels via CVA driveshafts, efficiently transferring power from the Reedy 3300kV motor into the newly designed dirt oval specific tires. Sending the amps to the motor is a Reedy SC600-BL speed control with a T-plug battery connector and a DVC (dynamic vehicle control) equipped receiver is housed in a waterproof receiver box. A 2-channel transmitter sends the signs and is included in the package. Steel turnbuckles can be found at all four corners and vertical ballstuds allow for roll center adjustments. Multiple shock mounting locations are available for both upper and lower mounts and aluminum oil-filled dampers find their home at all four corners.

Aesthetically the SR10 looks the part of a Saturday night special street stock car with its “G-Body-esque” silhouette, wedge nose, and blade rear spoiler. New SC sized dirt oval style tires arrive pre-glued to classic stock-car style black wheels. The rears are significantly wider than the fronts for balanced traction and the body height can be changed thanks to adjustable body mounts front and rear.

The SR10 is available as a RTR with LiPO and charger (#70030C) or without the battery/charger combo (70030).
