Fall is officially in full swing here in southern West Virginia; leaves are falling, the air is crisp and the weather went from 92 to 55 like it saw a state trooper. Hands down there are few things in this life more beautiful than the mountains of WV in the fall, with their shades of reds, orange, brown and yellow; a patchwork painting that could only have came from the hand of God himself. I’ve said it in a few of our YouTube videos and will say it again: if you’ve never seen my state in the fall you owe it to yourself to visit and experience it for yourself. Admittedly I’ve spent much of my time this week away from the keyboard but that doesn’t mean that the releases have slowed down! This week we have new products from JConcepts, Team Associated and Losi (in a collaboration with Kinetic and Cleetus McFarland). Let’s dive in and do some more damage to our wallets, shall we?
JCONCEPTS
New this week from JConcepts is the P2X, a 1/10 off-road buggy shell designed for added rear downforce and increased balance. This body traces its roots all the way back to 2010 and the original Punisher and the revised P2 from 2017; both of which were dominant from day one of their release. The P2X, shown here fitted to an Associated RC10B7, but also available for other 1/10 2wd buggy chassis, was designed around the recent IFMAR rule changes for the 2025 season and made its Worlds debut in Castle Hill, Australia this past September. Featuring a narrow nose that fits under the shock tower but still covering the chassis this body flows from stem to stern. Each body is designed to precisely hug the curves of its representative chassis and its rear section is wider to aid in mounting as well as promote additional forward bite. Each package includes two general purpose 6.5″ wings, overspray film, window masks and a full color decal sheet and is available in both standard and lightweight versions.

TEAM ASSOCIATED
On-road racers and drifters know better than anyone in RC that setup is vital to success. Team Associated’s Factory Team division has released four new tools to help racers get their ride dialed in to any track surface, including a new 3-7mm ride height gauge, droop gauge support blocks, a chassis balancing tool and a wheel arch cutout template tool. Each piece is machined to exact tolerances for increased accuracy, while the wheel arch tool ensures a perfect trim on every new body, first time, every time.

LOSI
We were treated to a surprise this week when Cleetus McFarland announced his latest giveaway along with the new products added to his site, of which included a new Losi NASCAR model based on Cleetus’ #30 Kinetic Ford Mustang driven in the ARCA Menard’s Series in 2025. This faithful recreation looks stunning down to the smallest detail (well, except for the fact that its on a Gen7 Cup body, wheels and tires instead of the correct ARCA bodywork, steel 15″ wheels and General tires… but we’re just happy to have this awesome option!). Under the beautiful body shell is the familiar NASCAR chassis, based on the Arrma Grom 4×4 platform, packed with full ball bearings, independent suspension, oil-filled shocks and Spektrum electronics. This car is RTR out of the box with its included 2s LiPO battery and charger and can be on track as quick as a single battery charge.
